We might only be in the first half of the year, but we all know that time flies, and thinking about what you might ask for this Christmas is a good idea. After the challenging 18 months, we have faced with the COVID-19 pandemic; we’re all hoping that this Christmas will be back to normal, allowing us to spend time with all of our loved ones. One way you can make it even more special is to ask for these stunning gift ideas – let us know what you think!
24-inch iMac
Apple shocked us all in April when it introduced the stunning new 24-inch iMac, which has received its biggest overhaul since the introduction of the all-in-one PC. We’re all familiar with Apple’s silver and black design, but the company has taken a different turn this year by introducing the iMac in a stunning spectrum of vibrant colors, the breakthrough M1 chip, and a brilliant 4.5K Retina display. It’s one that we should all add to our wishlists this year!
A proposal
This one’s a big deal, and perhaps not for everyone, but you could ask for a Valentina engagement ring this Christmas and have your partner propose to you. If you’re sure that you want to spend the rest of your lives together, then now could be a great time to ask your other half what they think about tying the knot, and planting the seed by showing them some of your favorite ring designs. There’s no guarantee that this is what you’ll end up with unless you’re super blunt and you’re on the same page, but pushing your partner in the right direction can help them to speed up their decision-making process and get the job done!
Gift cards
There’s nothing more awkward than receiving a gift from a family member that you don’t want or need. You have to pretend that you love it, and if it’s clothing or homeware, wear it or put it on display every time your loved one comes to visit. To save the embarrassment going forward, ask for cash or gift cards this Christmas instead. You can tell your loved ones that you’re saving for something particular, and they’re more likely to listen to your wishes and give you a card so you can spend money on what you really want. Just remember that not all gift cards have an endless expiration date – spend them quickly to be on the safe side.
Health and happiness
Let’s face it: we all have too much stuff in our lives. In today’s times, where we’re all making a conscious effort to reduce our environmental impact, you could ask your loved ones for a donation to a chosen charity, or nothing at all. In recent years, Christmas has taken a different more commercialized approach, and if you’re serious about going back to basics, then asking for health and happiness is a good idea. The money you would usually spend on buying friends and family gifts could be put towards a delicious turkey with all the trimmings.
What are you asking for this Christmas? Let us know and check back soon for more.
